| Palü and Bernina |
Gita UTOE in Palu and Bernina from their normal routes.
Palü Ascent and traverse to the hut Marco e Rosa on Saturday in a stunning setting. Arrival at the hut at 11.30 in time to taste the White Guardian and highly alcoholic bomb and Marco Rosa.
Sunday rose to Bernina hampered by fog and strong winds aloft. However beautiful descent from the Fortress and "outing" another jumping from a crevasse on the glacier with crampons and ice ax Morteratsch but not strung. Too bad for the Bernina, but is always there ... Sooner or later you get there.
